Our flagship product lets businesses send OTP codes with the best price-to-conversion ratio on the market, dynamically selecting the most effective channel in real time (optimized SMS, WhatsApp, and more) while actively blocking spam and fraud that legacy providers miss.

Founded in 2022 by former Zenly team members who lived the pain of broken SMS authentication firsthand, we're already serving fast-growing companies across Europe and are expanding into the US.

But authentication is only the starting point - we're building the platform for trust at scale, with an ambitious roadmap of market-defining products ahead.

About the Role

As a Mid-Market Account Executive for South Europe, you'll be responsible for driving growth across one of Prelude’s most strategic segments: mid-sized businesses with high-scale authentication needs. You’ll own the full sales cycle, manage complex evaluations with multiple stakeholders, and partner closely with our technical teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

You’ll help shape our mid-market motion, refine our GTM strategy and make key decisions for your territory, and play a meaningful role in expanding Prelude’s footprint across Southern Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience closing mid-market deals and wants to join a fast-growing startup where their impact is immediate and visible.

What will you be doing?

  • Owning and managing the sales cycle for mid-market accounts, from outbound prospecting to contract execution.
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of high-value prospects across key verticals.
  • Leading consultative discovery processes to understand customer needs, technical requirements, and decision criteria.
  • Delivering high-quality demos and value-driven pitches tailored to mid-market use cases.
  • Navigating multiple stakeholders - from product and engineering to procurement and legal.
  • Consistently exceeding quota while maintaining healthy win rates and sales velocity.
  • Delivering on cross-sell, up-sell and renewal opportunities
  • Sharing insights from customer interactions to help refine product strategy, messaging, and positioning.
  • Representing Prelude at industry events, conferences, and on-site customer meetings.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in B2B SaaS sales, including experience closing mid-market deals.
  • A strong track record of achieving or exceeding quota.
  • Confidence managing multi-stakeholder, multi-step sales processes
  • Curiosity - you'll enjoy unpacking how products work under the hood.
  • The ability to think strategically about accounts, to identify and engage economic buyers.
  • Someone who will thrive in a fast-paced environment, who enjoys taking initiative.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in English and ideally other languages (Italian, Spanish)
  • Enthusiasm for our product and growth plans

  • On-site interview at our Paris office, including a sales presentation and team meet-and-greet.
  • A 1-hour meeting with our CEO to explore our strategy and long-term vision.
