Responsible for setting and adjusting mill parameters to achieve optimum flour extraction and consistent quality. Operates wheat cleaning and conditioning processes while reporting any mechanical or electrical malfunctions.
Requires a Professional Certificate or Diploma, with a preference for UK Flour Millers (NABIM) certification. Candidates should be fresh graduates or have up to one year of experience in the flour milling industry.
Job Responsibilities
Capable of setting and adjust parameter of the mill according standard milling parameter.
-Achieve optimum extraction and meet the consistent targeted flour quality.
Capable of operate wheat cleaning and conditioning process and setting parameter of cleaning and conditioning process.
-Achieve targeted wheat and flour moisture target, standard tempering time and targeted capacity.
To report machineries mechanical, technical or electrical malfunction.
- Ensure the effectiveness of the immediate reporting to reduce downtime and keep the mill equipment operating as efficiently and consistently as possible.
To be food safety & occupational safety aware in terms of implementation & reporting where applicable.
- To prevent diseases, injuries, and deaths that are due to working condition.
-Ensure no one should have to suffer a job-related injury or disease because of their employment
Education & Qualification
Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent qualification recognized.
Flour Certificates: UK Flour Millers (NABIM)
Relevant Experience & Years of Service
Fresh diploma graduate or 1 year of working experience in flour milling industry
Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge
Familiar in the process and machine related to flour production and food safety system.
