You will lead the Bangalore-based developer platform team to set technical direction for CI/CD, release automation, and AI-enabled engineering tooling. You will also partner across engineering to remove bottlenecks and improve developer workflows while maintaining hands-on involvement in architecture and incident analysis.
The role requires over 8 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. Candidates must demonstrate success in building AI-enabled engineering tools and possess deep technical expertise in CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud-native SaaS environments.

Ping Identity’s Developer Platform team (internally known as DevTools) sits at the center of how our multitenant SaaS products are built, tested, promoted, and operated. We own critical parts of the engineering system that help product teams ship safely and quickly: CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, self-service platform capabilities, and AI-enabled engineering tooling.
This is a high-bar role for a hands-on technical leader who can drive transformational change across our developer platform, lead engineers, shape technical direction, and directly improve how software gets built and delivered. The right candidate has already done something similar before in a modern SaaS environment and can point to real results in areas like CI/CD, developer workflows, release automation, or AI-enabled engineering systems.
