The Design Lead is responsible for preparing site designs and producing planning and construction drawings using CAD software. They provide technical engineering input to support delivery teams and collaborate with clients to drive effective design solutions.
Candidates must have essential experience in the telecommunications design industry and over 5 years of experience with CAD software. A significant qualification in design or engineering and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required.

Job Description
Preparing & supporting preparation of site designs to operator guidance & requirements.
Providing technical input to and producing Planning & Construction drawings using CAD 2D software.
Making recommendations for & progressing further investigation works.
Providing project specific technical & engineering input to support designers & delivery management teams.
Client liaison & collaboration to drive appropriate design solutions.
Qualifications
Previous experience of within telecommunications design industry essential.
5+ years’ experience on CAD software (preferably in engineering)
A significant qualification in design/engineering
Computer literate, including software packages such as AutoCAD & Microsoft Office
Able to record detail & complete documentation manually & electronically.
Good communicator & well organised.
