The role involves managing pattern storage, documentation, and staging for daily production while assisting with pattern repairs. Additionally, the employee operates core machines and performs maintenance to produce quality cores within a heavy industrial environment.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Previous experience in core making, foundry work, or heavy industrial machine operation is preferred.

WAGE: $22.50/hour - $26.00/hour
SHIFT: 10-hour shifts: 5:00AM-3:30PM - Monday -Thursday
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor - Core/Mold
JOB SUMMARY: Maintains pattern storage and associated documentation and tracking. Ensures patterns are pulled, inspected and staged for daily production. Responsible for receiving new patterns and for preparing patterns for shipment/return to customers. Assists the pattern shop as needed for repairs and maintenance of patterns.
Preforms a combination of tasks in the Core department to achieve agreed upon performance levels with respect to job safety, quality, production, cost, housekeeping, and delivery. Perform all duties within the Core department as required.
This position involves regular: bending and lifting; continuous standing for long periods of time on anti-fatigue mats; pushing, pulling, and carrying of heavy parts and machines repetitively, must be able to use arms, hands, legs and feet in repetitive motions. Must be able to wear required PPE including safety boots, earmuffs/ear plugs, safety glasses, or other PPE as required.
