About the Role
As the Sales Manager – OEM/OES Sales, Truck & Trailer – Northwest, you will manage and grow customer relationships across truck, trailer, liftgate, terminal tractor, truck body, and other OEM accounts, as well as Original Equipment Service (OES) parts distribution channels within your territory. You will drive revenue growth, build strategic customer partnerships, and identify opportunities to expand market share and strengthen long-term customer success You will work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, Product Management, and Customer Service to support new product development, improve service levels, and deliver solutions that meet your customers’ evolving needs.
Location: Seattle, WA or Portland, OR
Territory: WA, OR, MT, ID, WY, AK
This is one open position and may be based in either the Seattle or Portland area, depending on the selected candidate’s location.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary OEM/OES sales contact for assigned territory and key accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer engineering, purchasing, and key decision-makers.
- Drive sales growth, margin improvement, and new business opportunities.
- Conduct customer visits, business reviews, and support issue resolution and service improvements.
- Grow OES service parts business, dealer/distribution networks, and branded/private-label programs.
- Identify customer needs and support new product development, launches, prototypes, and testing.
- Monitor competitive activity, pricing, industry trends, and customer requirements.
- Promote customer training, consultative selling, and value-based solutions.
- Maintain pricing integrity, contract discipline, ethical sales practices, and corporate compliance.
- Manage key market segments including Truck & Trailer OEM/OES, Terminal Tractor, Liftgate, Truck Body, and other OEMs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering preferred or experience in related field.
- 3+ years of progressive sales experience within heavy-duty truck, trailer, industrial, automotive or distribution-driven markets.
- Experience working with OEM manufacturers and successfully influencing them to purchase premium products.
- organizational development capability.
- Strategic thinker with disciplined execution focus.
- Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce preferred) and enterprise systems.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50%–60%.
