Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys and provide diagnostic ultrasound data for interpretation by physicians in a Maternal Fetal Medicine setting. Assist with specialized procedures such as amniocentesis and maintain accurate patient documentation and equipment.
Requires graduation from an accredited sonography program and ARDMS certification (OB/GYN or Fetal Echo). Preference is given to candidates with NT experience and at least six months of experience in an OB/GYN or MFM setting.
Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join our team at one of our Maternal Fetal Medicine clinics in Salt Lake City, UT. At Pediatrix, we are passionate about giving high-risk expectant mothers and their babies the care they deserve.
The diagnostic medical Sonographer provides diagnostic ultrasound for patients in the Maternal Fetal Medicine setting. The diagnostic medical Sonographer works independently and with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to pregnant women. They work closely with perinatologists, providing preliminary reports and assisting with procedures. Provide a brief description of the job’s primary purpose and responsibility within the organization.
Education:
Maintain or be eligible for certification as an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
ARDMS OB/GYN or Fetal Echo (FE) certified or eligible to obtain within 12 months of hire.
NT experience or certification preferred.
