The Hearing Screen Technician performs hearing screens on newborns and provides education to parents regarding the importance of early intervention. They are also responsible for documenting results, managing patient data, and ensuring all reporting is completed by the end of each shift.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and the ability to obtain CPR certification. The role requires physical stamina to stand and walk for 95% of the shift and the flexibility to work weekends and national holidays.
The Hearing Screen Technician (HST) performs hearing screens and provides education to parents on the relevance of hearing screens and the importance of early intervention.
