Responsibilities

Lead the F-35 Lightning II Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Mitigation program, overseeing scheduling, pricing, and technical performance. Supervise FOD Officers and ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget according to CDRLs.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering and over 20 years of experience. Must have specific expertise in NAVAIR SETR processes and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Senior Program Manager
The Senior Program Manager will contribute as both a team leader for the FOD Mitigation program and advisor to the PCI Aviation executive management as well as the program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
 
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Senior Program Manager shall report directly to the President of PCI Aviation, San Antonio, TX.  Position may be remotely located. 
 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage PCIA’s F-35 Lightening II Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Mitigation program effort
  • Coordinate and monitor the scheduling, pricing and technical performance of the FOD program
  • Supervise the FOD Officers and provide oversight of the entire program with input from the PCIA Engineering team and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Ensure the projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Ensure adherence to master plans and schedules, develop solutions to program problems
  • Develop the deliverables, with input from various parties, in accordance with the CDRLs.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS Industrial Technology, Electrical or Electronics Engineering required
  • 20 years plus experience
  • Specific experience navigating NAVAIR’s Systems Engineering (SETR) processes with regard to the development of Support Equipment and Test Program Sets (TPS) using application development environments for avionics, jet engines, and engine controllers.
  • Specific knowledge of DoD and NAVAIR policies and procedures
  • PMP or DAWIA Level III certified in Program Management, preferred
  • Ability to comply with all other requirements as specified within the CIEDA Personnel Policies and Procedures.
  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
