🧩 What You’ll Be Doing

As our Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer for Google, you’ll become a trusted technical guide for partners and internal teams, helping bring Google solutions to life across the sales cycle.

Your day to day will include:

• ☁️ Partnering with Channel Account Managers to support pre-sales conversations with Managed Service Providers.
• 🎤 Delivering engaging technical demonstrations that help partners clearly understand the value of Google Cloud, Google Workspace, Gemini and related solutions.
• 🛠️ Supporting partners with post-sale deployment, configuration guidance and technical validation.
• 🧠 Acting as a subject matter expert for Google solutions across the Australia region.
• 🤝 Collaborating with sales, vendor, partner and technical teams to help grow Google capability across Pax8.
• 📚 Creating confidence through enablement, technical advocacy and practical thought leadership.
• 🌱 Staying curious and self-directed as the Google ecosystem continues to evolve.

You’ll help establish and strengthen Pax8’s Google technical presence in the region. Your expertise will give partners greater confidence, help internal teams better position Google solutions, and create a stronger marketplace experience for Managed Service Providers and the small businesses they support.

This is a role where your knowledge will not just support the business, it will help build something foundational.

⭐ You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have

• Extensive pre-sales technical experience in a Solutions Engineer, Solution Architect or similar technical customer-facing role.
• Proven experience working with Google Cloud, Google Workspace, Gemini or the wider Google ecosystem.
• Considerable cloud technology knowledge, with experience in platforms such as Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
• Confidence presenting technical concepts in a clear, engaging and practical way.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, learn quickly and build expertise through self-directed learning.
• A collaborative style, with the ability to work well across sales, technical, vendor and partner teams.
• Experience supporting Managed Service Providers, channel partners or technology resellers would be highly valuable.
• The ability to turn complex technical ideas into simple, partner-friendly conversations.
• Full-time working rights in Australia.
