Job Summary
Perform general production operations and support management by acting as first line of assistance for employees. Production Lead may have specialized tasks or have a generalized role working in all departments.
Major Responsibilities
Coaches and trains lower-level Production Employees on the proper execution of production duties, ensures policies and procedures are followed.
Exhibits detailed knowledge of all production roles and is qualified in all aspects of production operations.
Safely operates forklift or production machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, blending, processing, packing, staging, and transportation of goods, operate pallet jacks, or other machinery in order to complete tasks.
Verifies and enters data into the ERP system.
Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other employees to do the same.
Compliance with company policies and procedures for the Food Defense Program and the GMP and Glass programs.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED with 3-5 years of experience.
Forklift experience, Knowledge of machines and tools. Computer knowledge in Word, Excel and/or PowerPoint. Familiarity with all aspects of production responsibilities.
