The pharmacist ensures optimal patient outcomes through clinical pharmacy activities, medication therapy management, and the monitoring of adverse drug events. They are also responsible for safe distributive services, including the preparation of medication doses and supervision of pharmacy technicians.
Candidates must hold a current Registered Pharmacist License (RPh) for the applicable state. BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association is required within three months of hire.
