The Psychologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats emotional, cognitive, and behavioral disorders across various patient populations. They collaborate with treatment teams to provide guidance on managing psychological issues that are either primary or secondary to medical conditions.
Candidates must hold a PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and possess a valid state license. A minimum of two years of post-doctoral experience in inpatient or outpatient psychological services is required.

For many patients, psychological care is essential to coping with distress, uncertainty, and life transitions brought on by cancer. For others, mental health concerns may impact treatment adherence, recovery, or quality of life. In every case, care must be delivered with clinical expertise, compassion, and respect.

The Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological services to adult oncology patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of emotional, cognitive, and behavioral concerns related to cancer and its treatment.
