Develop diagnostic strategies, service functions, and software update capabilities supporting manufacturing, field service, and over-the-air deployment.
Optimize software for commercial vehicle performance, durability, reliability, payload management, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with controls, systems, cybersecurity, functional safety, diagnostics, and vehicle integration teams to deliver production-ready software.
Support Model-Based Development (MBD), including MIL, SIL, and HIL verification activities.
Integrate supplier-developed software into vehicle platforms while ensuring compliance with program timing, quality objectives, and software release processes.
Coordinate the development and execution of software verification and validation plans to ensure compliance with functional, safety, regulatory, and performance requirements.
Analyze software defects, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), and vehicle performance issues through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Support prototype vehicle builds, software flashing, calibration activities, and vehicle testing.
Participate in software technical reviews, architecture reviews, design reviews, and release readiness assessments.
Support production launch activities, manufacturing issue resolution, and continuous software improvements through over-the-air (OTA) or service software updates where applicable.
