The Rebar Fabricator is responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints to operate various steel fabrication equipment including saws, punches, and drills. Additionally, the role involves safely operating overhead cranes and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Candidates must have 1 to 3 years of experience in a steel fabrication environment and possess a high school diploma. Proficiency in blueprint reading is required, while experience with rigging and hoisting is considered an asset.

Ocean Steel’s two New Brunswick plants include the original location in Saint John, as well as the York Steel Plant in Fredericton, which was acquired by Ocean Steel in 1995.
