Full job description

What We Do

Every school district in America runs on trust. Families need answers, staff need support, and IT teams need systems that actually work. Too often districts patch that together with disconnected tools and stretched-thin teams, with no real visibility into what is working.

Onflo built the platform that fixes that. Our service platform brings customer service, help desk ticketing, call center operations, AI chat, and IT asset management into one place, purpose-built for K-12 public education. When a district runs on Onflo, staff spend less time firefighting and more time serving students.

Events are one of the biggest ways district leaders first meet us and decide we are worth their time. Keeping that program running smoothly, day in and day out, is where you come in.

The Role

You'll be the operational engine behind our events, working closely with and under the direction of our Manager of Marketing Events. You'll keep a busy calendar organized, on schedule, and measurable, and you'll make sure the leads and relationships those events create actually get captured and followed up on. You'll own the details and the day-to-day execution that make each event land, and when Marketing needs a hand beyond events, you're the one who steps in.

Day to day, you will:

  • Run point on event logistics, vendors, booths, registration, and on-site support
  • Keep event timelines, checklists, the calendar, and documentation on track so nothing slips
  • Handle event emails, social promotion, and lead capture and handoff to sales
  • Keep event materials consistent and on brand as we grow the Onflo name in the market
  • Manage the team's project system and pitch in on broader marketing operations when the team needs it
  • You'll own specific events and components end to end while supporting the Manager of Marketing Events across the rest. It's a role with real responsibility and room to grow.

Who Thrives Here

We'll be direct with you, because we think you'll appreciate it.

Onflo is a small, fast-moving team. The event calendar is heavy, priorities shift, and there is not a perfect playbook for everything. You will often be the person holding many pieces together at once, and some weeks are a sprint. What we have is a product that genuinely helps schools, clients who trust us, and a team that cares about doing the work well.

The people who do their best work here are relentlessly organized and take real pride in the details other people miss. They own their work completely, with no dropped balls and no “that wasn't handed to me.” They stay calm when three shows land in the same month, build the process when there isn't one, and hold themselves to a higher standard than anyone would set for them. They are happy running the day-to-day while others set direction, and underneath it all they care about the schools and families this work serves.

If you want a predictable week, a fixed playbook, and one lane to stay in, this honestly isn't your role. If you are the one who quietly makes everything run, and it would bother you to see a ball dropped on your watch, keep reading.

What We're Looking For

  • Several years running marketing and events operations, ideally around trade shows and conferences
  • Fluent in the tools that make it work, like HubSpot and Salesforce, and quick to learn the rest
  • Relentless about follow-through, accuracy, and the unglamorous details that decide whether an event pays off
  • Energized by a busy, shifting calendar, and willing to travel to be on-site when it counts
  • Happy running the day-to-day and keeping the trains on time while others set the direction
  • K-12 or EdTech experience is a plus, not a requirement. Bring the operating instincts and we'll teach you the space.

The right person reading this already knows if it's them. If that's you, apply.

Location: This role is based at our Herndon, Virginia headquarters and requires working onsite 3–4 days per week, or as needed, depending on the requirements of the position. Expected travel for this role is 10 to 20%.

Expected Base Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 / year + Discretionary Bonus. Exact pay is based on experience, skills, market demand, and internal equity.
