The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy-duty truck engines and mechanical systems according to work orders. They must ensure all repairs meet FMCSA standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience working on diesel engines. Possession of personal tools and a valid driver's license is required, with ASE certification and a CDL preferred.

The Diesel Mechanic will possess the knowledge to maintain, repair and service diesel truck engines, including transmissions, brake systems, electrical systems, cooling systems, steering systems as well as basic mechanical skills. They will perform all tasks according to work orders created by the Mechanical Service Writer in line with the Ohio Truck Sales standards. This technician will work in a timely manner yet still focus on the quality of the job done.

o Pushing and pulling objects weighing 50+ pounds
