ABOUT THE ROLE

As Marketing & Communications Director, you will lead brand growth, audience development, and communications across LATAM, with Mexico as a strategic growth market. You will be responsible for defining and executing integrated marketing, content, and communications strategies that drive fan engagement, commercial growth, and brand impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Brand Leadership

  • Define and execute the LATAM marketing strategy, with a strong digital-first approach.

  • Translate global brand positioning into culturally relevant initiatives for Mexico and LATAM.

  • Identify key sports, entertainment, and cultural opportunities to maximize brand impact.

Communications & PR

  • Lead regional communications and PR strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives.

  • Manage media relations, corporate messaging, and reputation management.

  • Oversee crisis communications and high-visibility issues.

Content, Community & Audience Growth

  • Define content and community strategies that drive fan engagement and audience growth.

  • Build and manage relationships with creators, influencers, and digital partners.

  • Use data and insights to optimize audience acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Commercial & Revenue Growth

  • Drive ticketing demand, attendance growth, and fan experience initiatives.

  • Lead merchandising and e-commerce strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.

  • Support commercial partnerships through integrated marketing campaigns.

Leadership & Performance

  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing and communications team.

  • Manage budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.

  • Measure performance and continuously optimize marketing effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, communications, brand, or audience growth leadership roles.

  • Proven track record driving brand growth, audience engagement, and community building at scale.

  • Experience in sports, media, entertainment, digital platforms, or other consumer-facing industries.

  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, content ecosystems, and creator/influencer strategies.

  • Experience leading integrated marketing, communications, and PR initiatives.

  • Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
