As a Data Services Analyst at OCAS, you’ll contribute to the organization’s data operations, reporting, survey, and partner service activities. This role brings together data delivery, reporting assistance, survey administration, documentation, and technical troubleshooting to help internal teams and external partners access and understand OCAS data products and services.

You’ll support the intake and fulfilment of data and reporting requests, helping interest holders clarify their needs, coordinating recurring data and survey deliverables, and contributing to documentation, training, and process improvements. Your work will help ensure partners and internal teams have the reliable data, reporting, and guidance they need to make informed decisions.

In this role, you will:

• Manage internal and external data requests from intake to delivery, including documenting requirements, extracting and validating data, and tracking request status and service levels
• Support recurring reporting and partner-facing deliverables, including summaries of incoming data requests and operational trends
• Support Ontario colleges and external partners by helping users access and understand OCAS data products, coordinating onboarding, and contributing to training sessions, webinars, and demonstrations
• Use SQL, Python, and established troubleshooting processes to extract and validate data, improve operational efficiency, and escalate complex analytical or technical issues when needed
• Maintain data quality, metadata, user guides, FAQs, training materials, operational procedures, and knowledge base resources that support data governance and user adoption
• Coordinate and administer OCAS survey programs, including methodology, setup, testing, deployment, monitoring, quality assurance, reporting, analysis, and documentation
• Identify recurring questions, support issues, and operational challenges, and recommend improvements to documentation, onboarding materials, reporting products, and support processes

You should have:

• A diploma in a related field such as data analytics, statistics, mathematics, or another discipline with a strong quantitative, analytical, or technical focus; equivalent experience will also be considered
• 1-3 years of experience in a data operations, reporting, research, survey, or analytical support role
• Experience supporting internal or external interest holders, coordinating operational processes while managing multiple priorities, and understanding data privacy, confidentiality, and responsible data handling practices
• Working knowledge of SQL, basic Python scripting, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 tools, and data quality and reporting concepts
• Strong customer service, communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and identify, investigate, or escalate trends, anomalies, and data quality issues

Nice-to-haves:

• Familiarity with Power BI, SurveyMonkey, or similar platforms
• Exposure to modern data platforms, data warehouses, or analytics environments

The pay range for this position $57,000.00  – 70,000.00, depending on skills and previous experience.
