Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor's degree and possess 1+ years of coaching or playing experience at the high school or college level. Required certifications include CPR/AED and a valid driver's license.

Position Summary
Serve as Assistant Varsity Coach of Men’s & Women’s Tennis. Assist with the development of recruiting plans; actively recruit and evaluate prospects; conduct recruitment visits; conduct recruitment competition evaluations; Recruit per NCAA Division III (National Collegiate Athletics Division III) and UAA (University Athletic Association) regulations; assess prospective student-athletes' skills/abilities and prepare written elevations of prospective student-athletes for Head Coach's review. In consultation with the Head Coach, assist with the development of practice plans, strategies for upcoming contests, and player skills and conditioning programs. Develop and execute a segments(s) of each practice including presenting scouting reports on upcoming opponents; present a new defensive or offensive scheme; develop overall skill development plan for athletes.
Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience
Preferred Education:Master's Degree
Required Experience:1+ years of experience as a player or assistant coach at high school or college level or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:2+ years of experience coaching high school and/or college level teams in specific sport
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain. High level of interpersonal and motivational skills. Driver's license or ability to obtain.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Demonstrated knowledge of coaching on the NCAA Division I, II or III levels

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $77,000.00. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
