Candidates must hold a current Pharmacy Technician registration in the State of Georgia and possess at least one year of relevant experience. Certification through the PTCB or NHA is preferred.

Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient). Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
