The Retailer Licensing & Verification Specialist keeps onboarding running smoothly by reviewing applications, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate account records. You’ll support Sales, Marketing, and Accounting by processing fees and refunds, reconciling financials, generating weekly reports, and managing retailer account updates. This is a hybrid position. All employees must reside in N.C.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough review of the Retailer Lottery application and forms to ensure all required documents and information are submitted timely and complete
- Verify retailer applications for compliance
- Respond to applicant inquiries about processes and requirements. Provide technical assistance to applicants regarding the submission of their application or compliance materials, as necessary
- Communicate formally and informally with applicants to resolve issues with respect to errors and deficiencies in application or compliance submissions
- Create and update Promotional IDs with the Marketing department
- Process application fees and refunds; reconcile daily and monthly with Retail Accounting
- Prepare credit/background check reports for decision-making
- Enters initial bank account information for financial sweeps
- Tracks and reports incomplete applications on a weekly basis to the Sales department.
- Creates and provides the Sales Representative (SR) Recruited report weekly to the Sales Department
- Process daily reconciliation reports
- Maintain and update retailer records in the relevant databases.
- Maintain databases and reporting tools (Access, Excel, Word)
- Activate, inactivate, and suspend retailer accounts
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree and/or 2 years of experience
- Knowledge of and understanding of leases, bills of sale, warranty deeds, and purchase agreements.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Knowledge and ability to work in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and Power Point, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Knowledge of NCEL’s organization, operations, services, and policies.
- Knowledge of general office procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge and understanding of creating and uploading reports in Business Objects.
Hiring Rate: $42,117
