The Research Fellow will plan and implement independent research projects focused on the structural analysis of bridge-like lipid transfer proteins. Responsibilities also include leading manuscript preparation, presenting research at conferences, and co-mentoring graduate students.
Candidates must hold a PhD in structural biology, biochemistry, or a related field. Hands-on experience in both CryoEM and X-ray structural analysis is required, along with at least one first-author publication.

We are seeking a motivated and talented Research Fellow to join the laboratory of Assistant Professor Sho Suzuki and contribute to an exciting research program in structural analysis of bridge-like lipid transfer protein. This is an opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of experts at NTU and partner institutions, and to make a meaningful contribution to our understanding of neurodegeneration.
Plan, design, and implement independent research projects within a collaborative, multidisciplinary program
Acquire and apply expertise in protein purification, in vitro analysis and CryoEM structural analysis
Take a lead role in manuscript preparation and present research at international conferences and meetings
Co-mentor graduate students and research staff
Communicate regularly with principal investigators, collaborating colleagues, and lab members
PhD qualification degree in structural biology, biochemistry, or a related field
Hands-on experience in both CryoEM structural analysis and X-ray structural analysis
Excellent written and oral communication skills
At least one first author publication in an internationally recognized peer-reviewed journal
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a large, international team
