The Project Engineer/Manager owns the design, engineering, and execution of timber frame projects from handoff to completion. This includes creating 3D fabrication models, managing project budgets, and coordinating between clients, architects, and the fabrication shop.
Candidates must be proficient in hsbCAD, AutoCAD, and ERP software with a strong understanding of construction and architectural drawings. High precision in joinery detailing and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously are required.
Overview
The Timber Frame Project Engineer/Manager maintains full ownership of the design, engineering, and execution of projects from project handoff to completion. This position works directly with the Timber Frame Division Manager, shop craftspeople, and various departments throughout the organization.
The role requires knowledge of how to bring a project from the design stage through completion while coordinating with multiple internal and external team members. The Project Engineer/Manager will be responsible for the creation of 3D fabrication models, 2D drawing packages, obtaining fabrication approvals, and ordering project materials. As the primary point of contact, this role also facilitates meetings with clients, architects, and general contractors.

For Pay Transparency: Compensation Description (annually or hourly): Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
