The Accessible Transportation Coordinator will support planning efforts for transit agencies and serve as a primary point of contact for paratransit and mobility programs. Responsibilities include project management, advisory committee administration, public outreach, and funding administration.
Candidates must have at least six years of experience in transportation, planning, or administration and a bachelor's degree in a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are required, with a master's degree preferred.

We are seeking an individual with at least six years of relevant experience and a strong interest in transportation for older adults and people with disabilities, paratransit, inclusive and accessible public engagement, transportation funding, grant administration, and mobility management. The ideal candidate should have some background in developing sustainable strategies to improve community accessibility and mobility. People with a diverse set of transportation planning, program management, and/or customer service experience are encouraged to apply.

About You
Responsibilities
The Accessible Transportation Coordinator (ATC) position will be co-located at a client’s office in Alameda County. The on-site schedule is to be determined. The core responsibilities are outlined below.
The ATC will support planning efforts for cities, transit agencies, and Alameda County. The ATC will also serve as a primary point of contact for developing and delivering transportation programs and service solutions for older adults and people with disabilities, with a focus on paratransit and related systems. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of programs, equity, and administrative experience and have successfully managed transportation projects and budgets. The ATC will work both independently and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be asked to share previous work examples and demonstrate significant expertise in a range of transportation topics, equity frameworks and analysis, community outreach, and stakeholder coordination.

Salary and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $104,630 to $127,881, depending on qualifications and years of experience.
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; pre-tax transit and bicycling benefit; a 401k program; life insurance; and paid time off. Additionally, we offer flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.
