Act as the medical point of contact for clients with obesity, conducting intakes and managing medication treatments. Collaborate with professional coaches to provide sustainable lifestyle changes and medical oversight.
Must be a BIG-registered physician (basic doctor, ANIOS, or resident) with a degree in medicine. Candidates should be passionate about lifestyle change and behavior modification, with knowledge of obesity or diabetes preferred.

Over ons
NOK Clinics is onderdeel van de Nederlandse Obesitas Kliniek (NOK): dé expert in Nederland op het gebied van overgewicht en leefstijlverandering. Waar NOK zich richt op begeleiding rondom bariatrische chirurgie, biedt NOK Clinics cliënten een alternatief: duurzame leefstijlcoaching en behandeling met medicatie. Geen quick fix, maar een wetenschappelijk onderbouwde aanpak.
We groeien snel, en daarom zoeken wij een arts met visie, lef en hart voor onze cliënten. Jouw vaste werkplek is Leeuwarden, maar veel van je werk gebeurt ook digitaal.
Wat ga je doen?
Als arts bij NOK Clinics ben jij het medische aanspreekpunt binnen het behandeltraject van onze cliënten. Jij:
voert intakes en bespreekt behandelopties met de cliënt;
begeleidt cliënten die medicatie gebruiken tijdens hun traject;
schrijft medicatie voor en beoordeelt labwaarden en uitslagen;
werkt samen met professionele coaches en behandelaren;
werkt gewoon overdag, dus geen nachtdiensten of weekenden.
En dat alles zonder witte jas, maar mét oprechte aandacht en tijd voor je cliënt. Iedere dag is anders, maar wat je doet is altijd van betekenis.
een (basis)arts, ANIOS of arts-assistent met een afgeronde opleiding geneeskunde;
BIG-geregistreerd;
enthousiast over leefstijl, gedragsverandering en het begeleiden van mensen met overgewicht;
de collega die scherp kijkt naar processen en denkt in oplossingen;
communicatief sterk, proactief en empathisch;
op zoek naar een baan die past in je leven en je werkplezier geeft.
Het is mooi meegenomen als je al kennis hebt van obesitas, diabetes of leefstijlgerelateerde aandoeningen.
Wat krijg je van ons?
Een betekenisvolle baan waarin je direct het verschil maakt;

De locatie, midden in het centrum van Leeuwarden, zal naar verwachting eind oktober/begin november 2026 openen. De werktijden zijn van 08.30uur-17.00uur. Bij voorkeur start je eerder dan oktober/november. De eerste periode, totdat de locatie is geopend, zul je dan ingewerkt worden op onze locatie Hoogeveen of onze locatie Amsterdam/Beverwijk. Dit uiteraard in overleg.

By the end of 2007 Zorginitiatieven B.V. bought the NOK with one clinic in Hilversum to use it as a springboard to transform the business concept into reality. The concept entails the full integrated treatment of patients with obesity in which surgery, internal medicine, psychology, dietetics and physiotherapy is offered as an interdisciplinary health product. In the last two years the health protocol is developed meticulously; two new locations are opened; a joint venture is set up with hospitals and involved surgeons and a complete information system has been developed. Furthermore several opportunities are developed for more joint ventures, new locations and a new product development is in place to address other target groups with obesity The most leading surgeons in Holland are involved with NOK and together with the medical specialists, psychologists and paramedics the unique and leading concept is realized to treat patients with obesity. NOK is in that the largest clique in the Netherlands, with 3100 patients treated in 2012. The health product offered by NOK in the Netherlands fits one on one with the new guidelines for the treatment of morbid obesity and is in accordance with the Health Standard, which is determined by the Dutch government and the Dutch Health Authority.
