Design, build, and operate the APIs and services that power Nayya's products and partner integrations. Improve the developer experience for internal teams and external partners while ensuring operational quality and compliance.
Candidates should have 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend services and APIs. Deep expertise in API design and strong production experience with relevant programming languages is required.

The API Platform team builds the foundation everything else at Nayya runs on, the APIs, services, and developer tools that power our products and our partner integrations. When a carrier sends us data, an HR platform calls a Nayya endpoint, or MCP tool via it’s agent it goes through our platform.
We're now building toward a future where AI agents are first-class consumers of our platform. That means designing APIs, tools, and protocols that agents and MCP servers ours and our partners' can use safely, predictably, and at scale to act on behalf of members. If you're excited about shaping what an "agent-native" benefits platform looks like, this is the team to do it on.
The salary range for New York based candidates for this role is $160,000- $200,000. We use a location factor to adjust this range for candidates that are located outside of geographic region of our New York office. Placement within the salary band is determined based on experience.
