The Scheduling Coordinator manages patient appointments with internal and external providers and coordinates transportation and escorts. Additionally, they perform clinic receptionist duties, maintain medical records, and provide general administrative support.
Requires at least one year of administrative and scheduling experience, along with knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems. A CNA license or Medical Assistant certificate is preferred, especially with experience in geriatric or home care settings.
The Scheduling Coordinator assists in participant care responsibilities by performing receptionist duties, escorting participants to exam rooms and scheduling and coordinating various appointments between the participant and providers. The Scheduling Coordinator also performs a variety of clerical duties and provides administrative support to all clinic functions. Participant Scheduling and Support – 75%
