The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading production lines, and maintaining inventory accuracy. They must also ensure the cleanliness of equipment and maintain a safe, organized work environment by following 5-S standards.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have the ability to operate material handling equipment at a level 6 forklift classification. Strong communication skills and the ability to read and comprehend written work instructions are required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
