The role primarily focuses on embalming, preparation room duties, and restorative work for the deceased. Additionally, the candidate will arrange and direct funerals and provide support to families as needed.
Candidates must possess a valid state Funeral Director and Embalmer License with a clean disciplinary record. A valid state driver's license and a good driving record are also required.

This position will initially emphasize embalming and preparation room responsibilities, including restorative work, dressing, cosmetology, and care of the deceased. The successful candidate must also be capable of arranging and directing funerals and supporting families as business needs require. Schedule flexibility is important, as responsibilities may shift between preparation room operations and funeral service duties based on staffing levels and service volume.
