MOHU, the national waste management company of Hungary and member of the MOL Group, is looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Communication Expert/Team Lead to plan and deliver impactful marketing communication activities that support our Circular Economy Services strategy of reaching Hungary’s sustainability targets. In this role, marketing communication goes beyond brand building: it plays a key role in shaping public awareness, attitudes, and behaviour related to waste management and circular economy at a national level.
Key Responsibilities
Formulate and continuously develop the marketing communication strategy of MOHU in line with corporate strategy and concession targets
Develop and lead awareness‑raising and behaviour‑change communication programmes supporting sustainable waste management and responsible consumer behaviour
Measure and evaluate the impact of awareness‑raising activities, including attitude change, understanding, and behavioural indicators, alongside classic marketing KPIs
Ensure marketing communication reflects MOHU’s role as a national service provider, with a strong focus on customer experience, clarity of services, and reliability
Take full responsibility for the delivery and performance of marketing communication KPIs
Manage a team of 3 marketing experts, providing professional guidance, priorities
Closely collaborate and coordinate daily operations and work in strong cooperation with the MOL Group Marketing Communication and PR teams
Ensure cost-efficient, transparent, and result-driven operation of marketing communication activities, including budget planning and control
Requirements
University degree, preferably in marketing, business, or another relevant field
7+ years of professional experience in marketing communication
Proven experience in strategy development, KPI definition, and performance management
Hands-on experience in campaign planning and execution
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working in complex corporate environments
Ownership and focus on efficiency and impact
Confident communication skills in Hungarian and English
