Assist in the fabrication and assembly of custom switchgear structures using metal shop machinery and hand tools. Responsible for welding sheet metal, following blueprint diagrams, and preparing finished goods for shipment.
Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in general mechanical or metal working and the ability to read blueprints. Candidates must possess basic tools and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

The Metal Shop Technician will assist in fabrication and assembly of custom Switchgear structures of varying size and scope to meet client and product specs and prepare the same for shipment. Good understanding of machinery safety. Use hand and small power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drills as required. Must be able to read and understand blueprints. Infrequent travel may be required for install/service.
Schedule: Monday to Friday & Tuesday to Friday 4x10 schedule $2 shift differential to be applied
