About the Team
The Business Development Representative is a critical component of Miro’s go-to-market pipeline strategy — and an outstanding opportunity to sharpen enterprise sales fundamentals at real scale. You’ll join a team that works hard and moves fast, while prioritising a collaborative, well-balanced culture that invests in your development. As Miro continues to grow, BDRs who perform have a clear path into Account Executive roles across the SMB segment.
About the Role
Our Business Development team works on the front line with accounts that have low to no usage — helping them unlock the full value of Miro and generating quality new logos and enterprise expansion. As a BDR, you’ll work in close partnership with Enterprise or Strategic AEs to jointly own a shared territory. Your prospecting efforts will take three shapes: outbounding into existing accounts with low usage to uncover additional value, managing and converting inbound leads within your accounts, and cold outbounding into priority accounts to open doors with key executives and stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
→Generate pipeline for ENT and Strategic AEs
Partner with Enterprise and Strategic Account Executives to build outbound sequences, book qualified meetings, and maintain a strong top-of-funnel across your shared territory.
→Run a dual NL and expansion motion
Balance outbounding into cold, priority accounts for new logo opportunities alongside re-engaging low-usage existing customers to drive incremental growth.
→Profile accounts and define territory strategy
Research and segment accounts to prioritise outreach, identify the right stakeholders, and craft targeted messaging that resonates with each buyer’s context.
→Engage inbound leads and new trials and users to drive revenue
Identify inbound signals from new trials and users within the existing base, and convert that activity into pipeline through timely, relevant outreach.
→Execute marketing campaigns and event follow-up
Collaborate with Marketing on outbound campaigns, event-sourced leads, and pipeline programmes to ensure no opportunity falls through the cracks.
→Master discovery and inspire new use cases
Develop consultative discovery skills to understand how prospects currently work, where friction exists, and how Miro can create meaningful change for their organisation.
→Own CRM accuracy and data quality
Be a key contributor to ensuring accurate, up-to-date data in Salesforce — enabling smarter territory planning and a stronger foundation for the team’s growth strategy.
What You’ll Need
1+ year of experience in sales, preferably in a SaaS or B2B tech environment; comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a university.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills — you build rapport quickly and write with clarity and purpose.
Proven ability to develop relationships — you know how to earn trust with potential clients and internal partners alike.
Resilience and adaptability — you navigate ambiguity with a positive attitude and find a way through obstacles.
Genuine curiosity and growth mindset — you seek feedback, iterate on your approach, and are always looking to level up.
Results orientation — you’re energised by pipeline targets and motivated by the role you play in Miro’s continued growth.
AI fluency and curiosity — comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve prospect research, outreach preparation, productivity, and day-to-day execution.
