U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated building maintenance services company, is currently accepting resumes for the position of Electronic Locksmith for its Philadelphia PA location.
BASIC FUNCTION:
The electronic locksmith is responsible for the repair, and service of locks, electronic access equipment, and related hardware.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Performs operations as required by job work order and/or maintenance order in preventive maintenance.
Operate and maintain hand tools and specialized locksmith tools, materials and equipment.
Maintain computerized and manual records.
Maintain tools and equipment in safe, clean and proper working condition.
Cut keys and re-key locks.
Read blueprints and schematic diagrams.
Plan and organize work to meet changing deadlines and priorities.
Adapt to changing technologies and learn functionality of new equipment and systems.
Work independently with little direction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
Basic operational characteristics of technology related to access control, alarm monitoring and CCTV.
Principles and practices related to facility security and communication systems.
Basic hardware and software related to facility security systems.
Modern methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in locksmith work including electronic door systems.
Key code systems used to generate Master keys.
