Welcome to Merit Restorations.
We specialize in mitigating and rebuilding residential and commercial properties damaged by fire, water, storms, and other disasters. We partner with leading insurance carriers and handle everything from emergency cleanup to complete rebuilds, with a focus on safety, integrity, and advocacy. As entrepreneurs, we take full ownership of the work we do and the families we serve.
At Merit, our purpose is simple and non-negotiable: we work together as a team so we can change lives. Teamwork is the foundation of everything we do—because teamwork creates impact, and impact changes lives. We exist to help people, and the only way we do that at the highest level is by moving as one team, aligned in mission, values, and execution.
Why we exist. We exist for two families. The families we serve and the families inside this company. When we work together and serve our clients at the highest level, both families win.
This may be the most exciting brand-building opportunity in the restoration industry.
Most marketing jobs ask you to manage content.
This role asks you to help build a brand.
Merit Restorations is searching for a Brand Experience Manager — a specialized individual who can help build, protect, and amplify one of the most respected restoration companies in the country.
We’re not looking for someone to simply manage social media.
We’re not looking for someone to maintain a content calendar.
We’re not looking for someone who needs to be told what to do next.
We’re looking for a builder.
A storyteller.
A creator.
A strategist.
A visionary.
A doer.
Someone who sees opportunities others miss and turns them into momentum.
Someone who understands that great brands are not built through marketing tactics alone—they are built through stories, experiences, culture, consistency, and relentless execution.
This role is for the person who wants the challenge of helping build a nationally recognized brand in an industry where very few companies have done it successfully.
If that sounds exciting, keep reading.
Why This Role Exists
Merit Restorations is building more than a restoration company.
We’re building a brand customers trust.
A brand employees are proud to represent.
A brand communities recognize.
A brand acquisition partners want to join.
A brand that changes lives.
As we continue to expand into new markets and integrate new companies, protecting and strengthening that brand becomes one of the most important responsibilities in our organization.
You'll work directly with the Director of Marketing & Client Experience to help bring the Merit brand to life across every touchpoint—from social media and jobsite visits to employee events, recruiting campaigns, customer stories, acquisitions, and community involvement.
While the Director of Marketing focuses on long-term strategy, brand vision, and company-wide initiatives, you'll own the day-to-day execution that keeps the Merit story moving forward.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional marketing role.
This is a builder’s role.
You will work directly with the Director of Marketing & Client Experience to shape and strengthen the Merit brand.
While the Director of Marketing provides strategic leadership across multiple brands, business units, and marketing initiatives, you will have significant ownership and autonomy in building, protecting, and advancing the Merit brand on a daily basis.
This relationship is built on partnership, trust, accountability, and shared vision—not micromanagement.
You’ll be empowered to move quickly, create boldly, and lead initiatives while benefiting from the support, coaching, and strategic guidance of an experienced marketing leader.
The Director of Marketing helps ensure alignment across the broader family of brands.
You help ensure Merit becomes impossible to ignore.
You’ll have a front-row seat to a company experiencing significant growth.
You’ll help shape the voice of the company.
You’ll help tell the stories that define our culture.
You’ll help create the reputation that follows us into every market we enter.
You’ll help ensure that as Merit grows, the brand grows stronger.
Most marketers spend their careers managing campaigns.
You’ll spend yours helping build something people remember.
