The Medical Assistant is responsible for patient intake, obtaining vitals, and managing electronic medical records. They also support clinical procedures, maintain surgical instruments, and handle the stocking and cleaning of exam rooms.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, and at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic is preferred. CPR certification is also preferred.

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for:
• Room patients and obtaining vitals
• Entering patient information into electronic medical record (EMR)
• Setting up and assisting with office procedures
• Chaperone providers during patient examination
• Taking pre-op and post-op photos of patients
• Maintaining surgical instruments and transporting instruments to Central Sterile (CSS)
• Processing surgical specimens and transporting them to Pathology
• Maintaining and stocking exam rooms
• Ordering clinical supplies
• Completing FMLA and Disability forms
• Cleaning and resetting exam rooms
• Other duties as assigned
