The engineer will participate in the full software development lifecycle to improve the MediaAlpha Exchange Product and integrate business partner data. Responsibilities include writing reliable code, maintaining servers, and collaborating with product managers to define features.
Candidates need a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of software development experience, specifically with Linux and relational databases. Proficiency in at least one scripting language and experience with Restful APIs are required.

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our technology team. As a Software Engineer at MediaAlpha, you will take part in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. This includes working with stakeholders in fixing and improving our MediaAlpha Exchange Product and testing new features and integrations. The ideal candidate will enjoy designing, implementing, and scaling systems that process tens of thousands of high-value transactions a day, while also producing elegant and readable code.
