Oversees daily department objectives and production volumes while ensuring adherence to GMP and product specifications. Coordinates transportation appointments and leads the team in implementing new strategies to meet customer expectations.
Requires general warehouse experience, WMS knowledge, and a valid Forklift Certification. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with the ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Reports To: Operations Supervisor
Oversees the daily objectives set by the Supervisor and makes sure the daily department work volumes are completed. Contributes to a work team environment and interfaces with employees and customers. Assures associates maintain good manufacturing practices (GMP) as well as maintain product specifications. Extreme attention to detail is required.
MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES
Cross training in additional duties may be needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to lead and direct associates daily.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Some college and High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required; General warehouse experience: Knowledge of WMS; Good computer skills. Forklift Certification. Past Customer Services experience a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to physically count, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
REASONING ABILILTY
Ability to define problems establishes facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
