The Assistant Builder supports the Senior Builder in overseeing the timely and high-quality construction of homes within budget. Key duties include coordinating trades, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and building codes.
Candidates need at least 2 years of homebuilding experience or a related post-secondary degree, along with a valid driver's license and vehicle. A strong understanding of Ontario Building Codes and the ability to lead on-site staff are essential.

As the Assistant Builder you are in an entry-level building management position which assists the Builder in overseeing timely construction of each home -- within budget, to company high quality standards while striving to provide The Best Homeowner Experience. You play an important role in producing QA-ready homes by coordinating various complex aspects of construction process, in an efficient, safe manner through effective assistant management of trades, suppliers, and staff.

The expected base salary range for this position is $57,500 – $87,500. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.
You are also eligible to participate in Mattamy’s annual bonus program which gives you the opportunity to increase your total compensation if business and individual goals are achieved.
