The Mater Mothers’ Hospital currently has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Midwife to work within our Public Postnatal unit.
We currently have permanent and maximum-term opportunities available in a part-time or full-time capacity.
The successful applicant will provide clinical midwifery leadership and management on a day-to-day basis and deliver evidence-based care to women ranging from the care of normal, low risk women through to complex obstetric and medical care requiring an extensive multidisciplinary approach.

Providing exceptional care and support of women and their families, Mater Mothers' Hospitals offer integrated services covering obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology, and maternal fetal medicine. Salary range: $57.48 - $61.55 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
As a Clinical Midwife, you will be responsible for practicing with advanced clinical competence in the provision of quality and cost-effective care in consultation with other members of the health care team. This includes providing support and direction to other staff while role modelling and promoting professional standards of practice and conduct.
