This role sits within our Product & Technology function in our Amsterdam office, home to over 300 talented professionals, where cross-functional teams design, develop and scale the products that millions of users rely on every day across our Benelux marketplaces, Marktplaats and 2dehands/2ememain.

As a Senior Product Manager for Seller Success, you will lead the product roadmap for our General Classifieds offering across C2C and B2C, building products that create value for customers while supporting sustainable business growth.

What You Will Do 

• Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap, defining and prioritizing features based on strategic objectives, customer insights, and business impact, and communicating strategy and outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
• Manage complex product initiatives, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from discovery and concept through launch and continuous optimization.
• Partner closely with Commercial and other business stakeholders to develop products that support business objectives and monetization opportunities while maintaining a strong customer focus and healthy marketplace dynamics.
• Partner with User Research to conduct in-depth customer research, market analysis, and competitive research to identify opportunities for product differentiation, marketplace growth, and commercial success, leveraging a strong understanding of classifieds and marketplace dynamics.
• Work hands-on with Engineering and Design throughout the product lifecycle, translating strategy into high-quality solutions and making day-to-day decisions to deliver the intended customer and business outcomes.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, using data and experimentation to continuously improve product outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Commercial, and Customer Success, to deliver high-quality products.
• Define and support go-to-market strategies for key product launches, partnering with cross-functional teams to maximize customer adoption and business impact.
• Develop product initiatives with a strong commercial mindset, balancing customer value, business objectives, technical feasibility, and long-term sustainability.
• Champion innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve customer experiences and product outcomes.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in Product Management, with a proven track record of managing complex product initiatives, leading cross-functional teams from discovery through delivery, and delivering measurable customer and business outcomes.
• Sharp strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-informed decisions and navigate ambiguity.
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with the ability to engage confidently in business discussions, understand commercial trade-offs, and make product decisions that maximize customer and business value.
• Hands-on experience working on marketplace, classifieds, ecommerce, or two-sided platform products, with a solid grasp of supply and demand dynamics, pricing models, network effects, and the commercial levers that drive marketplace performance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build alignment across teams.
• Deep understanding of Agile product development and experience working hands-on with Engineering and Design throughout the product lifecycle.
• Fluent in customer discovery, user research, product analytics, experimentation, and user-centered design.
• Knowledgeable about the competitive landscape and emerging technologies, including AI, with the ability to translate these into customer and business value.
• Proactive, hands-on, and collaborative, with a can-do mindset, strong sense of ownership, and ability to build trusted relationships within a high-performing Product organization.

Bonus Points

• Prior experience working on 3rd party integrations would be ideal.

This role is based out of our Amsterdam office. While we offer flexibility, we value in-person collaboration and encourage our teams to spend regular time in the office.
