  Production Worker

Job Summary

The Production Worker is part of the production team, ensuring that a quality product is produced and delivered in a timely manner. The Production Worker will need to observe high safety and quality standards. The Production Worker will also need to be reliable, punctual and be able to perform physical repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

· Assist in the production of orders with consistent speed and accuracy

· Ensure that high quality production standards are met

· Maintain a clean work area and follow health and safety standards

· Follow production guidelines and specifications according to customer’s request

· Safety operate and maintain tools, machinery and equipment 

· Complete packaging tasks: assembling gaylords, placing product into gaylord, labeling boxes

· Quality check finished product to ensure completed to customers standards 

· Assist in maintaining and organizing accurate inventory levels

· Assist in the ordering of material 

· Additional responsibilities as assigned

Education & Experience 

· High School education or GED is required

· Some light manufacturing assembly, production line experience preferred

· Patch / PA Child Abuse / FBI Fingerprint Clearance are required to begin employment and this is all paid by Life’sWork of Western PA 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 

· Physically capable of manual labor including: standing, lifting, reaching and bending

· Able to lift up to 50 pounds

· Reliable and punctual

· Willingness to work as a team with a positive attitude

· Decision making and problem-solving skills

· Flexibility to adapt to changes

· Interpersonal skills

· Basic computer and math skills
