The technician is responsible for producing aqueous and metal-organic standards using precise weighing and pipetting techniques. They must follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements while working with concentrated acids and organic solvents.
A high school diploma is required, while an associate degree in physical science or 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to use lab equipment safely and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.

This is a production job in which the Technician is expected to produce standards quickly and accurately using weighing and pipetting techniques. All procedures will be performed according to all safety requirements. The Technician will be working with concentrated acids and Organic solvents to make trace metal products. This position may require creating or generating waste that is hazardous by regulation or that must be handled as hazardous waste regulations and company procedures require.
