Develop and maintain manufacturing methods and test processes for semiconductor components from pilot to high-volume manufacturing. Resolve technical production challenges and improve product quality by reducing test cycle times and analyzing non-conformances.
Requires a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering with over 8 years of applicable experience. Candidates should have expertise in capital equipment, vacuum/gas systems, and strong technical communication skills.
In this position, you as a Test Engineer, will develop, implement and maintain methods,operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. You will have the opportunity to work across organizationfunctions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges, as well as opportunity todevelop excellence in product design and manufacturing. Oversees the planning, development,implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for newand existing products. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel inproducing quality products at minimum costs. Acts as liaison with engineering in releasing newproducts. Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products.Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. The candidate will be responsible for transitioning test on new products from Pilot toManufacturing, resolving any manufacturing floor test issue, improving product quality, andreducing the test cycle time. The ideal candidate is someone with field service engineeringexperience at a semiconductor fab, who is very familiar with capital equipment and the issuesthat typically come up.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
