You will perform electronic and mechanical assembly of wafer fabrication equipment within a clean-room environment using schematics and hand tools. Additionally, you will ensure quality standards through visual inspections, leak checks, and clear communication regarding production status.
The role requires 1-2 years of mechanical or related assembly experience and an Associate's Degree, Technical Certificate, or Diploma in Engineering. Candidates must be proficient in computer-based data systems and capable of working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment.

At Lam, as an Assembler, you play a vital role in electronic, electron-mechanical, and mechanical product assembly on wafer fabrication equipment (WFE) in a lean manufacturing clean-room environment. You’ll use your insights, computer-based instructions, hand tools and fixtures to install parts and hardware. Your expertise ensures precise setup and adjustments, holding tolerances to specifications, and contributes to the quality of Lam's products.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
