The Engineering Technician will perform testing, troubleshooting, and fault isolation on complex electro-mechanical systems and circuitry. They will also collaborate with development engineers to collect design data and support the construction of specialized test equipment.
Candidates must have 2-4 years of related experience in equipment maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting. A technical certificate or associate degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

At Lam, as an Engineering Technician, you'll play a crucial role in supporting activities including design, test, modification, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, and specialized test equipment. Referencing schematics, diagrams, and descriptions, you'll conduct testing and troubleshooting. You'll perform fault isolation and assist in determining methods to remedy malfunctions. Your commitment to precision and problem-solving will enhance Lam's engineering systems.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
