The supervisor will lead and develop a team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. They will also coordinate emergency response efforts and implement safety training programs to maintain a secure workplace. Ultimately, the Operations Supervisor ensures that all operational processes align with company standards and contribute to overall business success.
The Operations Supervisor will apply operations management skills daily to coordinate complex workflows and ensure seamless warehouse and dispatch activities. Team management skills are essential for motivating staff, resolving conflicts, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and PKMS enables accurate tracking of inventory and efficient dispatching, which are critical for meeting delivery deadlines. Safety training and emergency response skills are utilized to maintain compliance with regulations and to prepare the team for potential incidents, ensuring workplace safety. Additionally, strong communication and problem-solving skills support continuous improvement initiatives and effective coordination across departments.
