The Assistant Director supports the day-to-day operations of YMCA Food Access Programs and strengthens community partnerships. They work with the Director to implement strategic initiatives and ensure compliance for USDA reimbursed food programs.
Candidates should have a passion for addressing food insecurity and strong relationship-building skills. Preference is given to those with 2+ years of USDA food program experience and supervisory or food management backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Passion for addressing nutrition and food insecurity. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. 2+ years of USDA food program experience preferred. Program management and supervisory experience a plus. Food service preparation and/or food management experience a plus.
