The Project Engineer provides professional structural engineering services for the analysis, design, and retrofitting of various building projects. Responsibilities include creating analysis models, preparing calculations, coordinating with architects and BIM modelers, and performing site visits.
Requires a Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Candidates must have knowledge of dynamic and finite element analysis, specific structural software, and design standards for concrete, steel, and wood.
The Project Engineer will provide professional structural engineering services related to analysis and design projects for buildings and other structures as well as retrofitting. Duties include:
This is a hybrid position within commuting distance of San Francisco, CA office (71 Stevenson, 18th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105). WFH permitted 1 day per week. Domestic travel, mostly regional, to client sites as needed – up to 10% of time.
Education and Experience Requirements:
A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field.
Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field, and 2 years of experience as a civil or structural engineer, is accepted.
Knowledge of the following, through post-secondary coursework or employment experience, is also required:
$116,000 to $125,000 per year.
