The Sanitation Manager oversees the sanitation department to ensure all processing equipment and facility grounds meet regulatory and company food safety standards. This includes managing staff, coordinating the Master Sanitation Schedule, and conducting post-sanitation inspections.
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and possess the ability to manage complex sanitation protocols and regulatory standards. Experience in food safety compliance (FDA, SQF) and chemical safety is essential.
Summary:
The Sanitation Manager has the overall responsibility of the Sanitation Department. The Sanitation Manager will oversee the Sanitation Department and align with the company goals of safe quality food. The Sanitation Manager coordinates cleaning and sanitation activities in order to maintain processing equipment, facility infrastructure, and site grounds in a clean and sanitary condition while ensuring sanitation activities meet all regulatory, customer and company requirements.
Responsibilities:
The Sanitation Manager shall ensure the sanitation department is appropriately staffed with trained and competent employees and continuously improve the sanitation department to align with company key performance indicators. The Sanitation Manager will oversee and supervise all cleaning and sanitation activities within the facility. Responsibilities include the following:
